book cover for the end of all wars, planet one, the roots of war, Charlie Alice Raya, black and white photo of billowing clouds

The aim of this project is to inspire us to contemplate the end of all wars as an option and as something to aim for.

The stories and in the future this website, will hopefully provide some ideas and tools to do so.

Locations

Theoretically anywhere. However, I’d like to keep flying to a minimum, and I would like to avoid zigzagging. My personal flying policy is presently that I only fly when I can’t reach a destination within 24 hours by train.

If things go well, I’d like to travel Canada and the US in summer 2025. This would be a perfect combination of doing research for the easy town book, book 5, hiding & breaking, and doing events along the way.

My main stops and routes would include: Toronto, New York, anywhere on the railroad from New York to San Francisco, anywhere on the road from San Francisco to Seattle and the Canadian boarder), and Canada in the wild (for a longer period of writing), and on the way back Vancouver, and then all the way to the east of Canada and probably some cities on the way.

If this is possible, I would like to keep the story’s timeline and leave London for Toronto on 18 May or some days sooner.
